The Presidential candidate of the National Interest Party(NIP),Eunice Atuejide has withdrawn from the presidential race.
This came barely twenty eight days when the former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili made her own announcement from the race.
Eunice declared that she stepped down from the election because her race for the presidency was programmed to end on the 16th of February, which it did.
The National Electoral Commission had cancelled and postponed the presidential and National Assembly elections which was to be held the 16th of February and the 23rd of March.
Eunice however, told reporters that she would support the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP),because of his choice of Vice President.
In her statement, she chose to fight for the benefit of every Nigerian on the side of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, even if she cannot defend the leadership of PDP in past years, and still cannot blame the current ruling party for doing worse from 2015 till date.
