Mr. Yusuf Salisu, Nigeria’s head coach was seen on camera taking money from a secret journalist acting as football agents to pick players for the 2018 African Nations Championship which held in Morocco earlier this year.
They were taken out of the 2016 edition at the group stage under the past coach, Mr. Sunday Oliseh in Rwanda following failure to build on their 4-1 win in the opening game for two years.
The video was filmed by a Ghanaian secret agent journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, showing the former Kano Pillars and Enyimba boss receiving $1000 to include two unnamed players in his squad.
However, the Eagle’s head coach was assured a part of the money of the players’ if they are able to get good deals to play abroad.
