Following the tension reported in Enugu State earlier today, over the alleged abduction of Rev. Father Mbaka, the leader of Adoration Ministries and accusations, the Department of State Services (DSS) has denied it arrested the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministries Enugu, Father Ejike Mbaka.
Protests took place in Enugu on Wednesday afternoon over the alleged ‘disappearance’ of Mbaka, who was said to have been last seen on Tuesday evening. A lot of tension was reported in the Coal City, as youths gave the government an ultimatum of 48 hours, to provide the Revrend.
Many alleged that Mbaka, who recently called for the resignation or impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari over worsening insecurity, was taken by security operatives or gunmen.
However, the DSS spokesman, Dr Peter Afunanya, stated;
“This is not true. Fr Mbaka was not picked up by the DSS. Rev Fr Mbaka is not with the DSS. The DSS did not pick him up, please.”
