Embattled Nollywood actor Olarenwaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has been granted bail in the sum of two million naira, and two sureties, by the Lagos State Special Offences Court.
The presiding judge, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, while delivering a ruling on his bail application on Thursday, June 24, ordered that the actor be released on bail while the trail continues.
The judge ruled that the actor must provide the amount alongside two sureties, one of which must be a legal practitioner and the second a family relation.
Baba Ijesha, was however, given the next seven days to perfect the bail terms and conditions, by the Judge.
The judge, said the trial would begin on July 26 through 27 and 28 respectively.

Recall that Baba IIjesha is being tried for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of comedienne, Princess and he is facing a six-count charge bordering on the indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault by penetration.
