Daura District Head Regains Freedom 3 Months after Kidnap.

The district head of Daura, Alhji Musa Umar-Uba, who was kidnapped from his residence three (3) months ago has been rescued by security operatives in Kano.

 

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Malam Tukur Umar, younger brother to the victim confirmed this in Daura on Tuesday 2nd July, 2019.

 

He said the Magajingari Daura was rescued by a gallant team of security operatives after a fierce gun battle with his captors who held him at

a secluded house along Madobi road in Samagu quarters close to Sani Abacha Youth Centre, Kano.

The family of the rescued District head expressed their gratitude for the tireless efforts of the security operatives which led to his successful rescue.

 

According to reports by the News Agency of Nigeria, Alhaji Musa Umar-Uba was abducted on March 1st , 2019 and since then no contact was made between the family and his captors.
