The Oba, who doubles as Chairman, Edo State Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, said there was need to broker peace between the warring parties in order not to truncate the peace enjoyed in the state.

“Mr President, we as traditional rulers are concerned about the feud between Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress and Incumbent Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki and Edo State House of Assembly.

“If this crisis is not resolved now with immediate effect it may truncate the progress of the State”.

Amidst the coming elections in Edo state, The relationship between Oshiomhole and the State Governor, Obaseki got strained recently over the leadership structure of the State House of Assembly.
