Twin militant attacks in Burkina Faso has claimed the lives of over 25 people according to local media.
The coordinated attacks happened in the Northern Sanmatenga province local media reported on Monday.
A van loaded with people and goods rode over a bomb on Sunday, resulting in the death of 15 civilians and the injury of six others.
Meanwhile, 14 people were killed around 50 kilometres away when militants ambushed bicycle riders carrying food products, said the report.
The government has promised to take active steps to protecting the lives of citizens and prevent future occurrences.
Burkina Faso has been facing bouts of terrorist attacks since 2015 that has caused over 500 deaths and displacement of over 280,000 people.
