The Chairman, All Progressives Congress Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, on Wednesday, formally handed over the party’s leadership to the newly elected chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
Before the last Saturday’s APC National Convention, Buni, who is the Yobe State Governor, had been saddled with the responsibility of piloting affairs of the party as caretaker chairman for more than 20 months.
Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has assumed office after three days of swearing him into office as the Chairman the All Progressives Congress, the party’s National Secretariat.
Adamu, who stormed the premises at about 11:30 am on Wednesday alongside members of the National Working Committee, was received by a waiting crowd of supporters.

It was gathered that when arrived the office he immediately went into the meeting.
This would be his first visit to the party’s base after his emergence as Chairman.
