Iconic Hollywood actor, Nic Cupac reportedly dies on location during the filming of the movie, Indiana Jones’ 5.
Nic Cupac died at the age of 54 of natural causes Fes, Morocco, where major stunt scenes were due to be captured for the upcoming film, The Sun reports.
Cupac’s responsiblity involved assembling sets and he was a veteran in the movie industry, with dozens of credits on IMDB.
He had previously worked on Jurassic Park, Disney’s Cruella, Bridget Jones’s Baby, X-Men and The Da Vinci Code, before joining the crew for the Harrison Ford-led movie, which is set for release in 2023.
The fifth and final Indiana Jones sequel, which was initially due for release in 2022 but has now been pushed back to 2023, saw filming halted by three months this year after actor Harrison Ford suffered a shoulder injury. (Punch Newspaper)
The actor had been rehearsing for a fight scene for the upcoming film when he was injured.
According to a statement from Disney at the time: ‘In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder.
‘Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.’
The new film will see James Mangold take on directing duties from Steven Spielberg.
