Libyan authorities have continued recovering bodies of drowned immigrants whose ship sunk in the Mediterranean Sea.
Tarik Argaz, UN refugee agency (UNHCR) spokesperson made this known to BBC newsmen.
He said according to some survivors, the boat which was a wooden fishing boat, carried between 250-300 migrants.
He confirmed that this might be the worst case of drowning in the Mediterranean this year, and recounted the UNHCR’s message on alternative safe passage for migrants.
The UN agency is likely to send the survivors to detention camps as they are against the idea of sending them back to Libya.
