At about 10:30am today (24th February), the Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu was sworn in for a second tenure in office, along side the Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, under the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The Governor was accompanied by his wife, children and grandchildren. The new Deputy Governor came with his wife as he took the oath of office for the first time.
The inauguration took place at the International Culture and Event Centre, Akure.
Other Governors in attendance were (Edo State Governor) Godwin Obaseki, (Osun State Governor) Adegboyega Oyetola, (Lagos State Governor) Babajide Sanwo-Olu, (Ogun State Governor) Dapo Abiodun and (Ekiti State Governor) Kayode Fayemi.
Many other political personnels also graced the occasion; (Former Governor of Ogun State) Ibikunle Amosun; (Former Senate President) Ken Nnamani and (New APC chieftain in Osun State) Sen. Iyiola Omisore.
