A new date has been fixed for external candidates intending to sit for the 2020 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination. The date was fixed by the National Examinations Council (NECO).
According to the council, the examination’s date will now hold from the 8th of February till the 10th of March 2021, as against the initial date of February 1st till the 3rd of March.
According to a statement released by the council, “The Council hereby informs those candidates, who missed some papers during the 2020 SSCE (Internal) due to the #EndSARS protests in some states, to take note of these new dates and report for the examination accordingly at their various examination centers to be designated.” The change is to enable the candidates to have more time to complete their registration for the examination.
