According to Abubakar Malami, the Minister of Justice, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has been arrested and brought back to Nigeria to face his trial.
This was made known by the Minister and Attorney General of the federation, at a joint press briefing earlier on Tuesday. The conference was in the FCT with the State Security Service (SSS).
Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, revealed that the apprehension was possible as a result of assistance from international security agencies.
The IPOB leader is facing treasonable felony charges at the Federal High Court, Abuja.
