The Ogun state police have arrested over 150 suspects following supremacy clashes between cult groups in Ifo and Sango-Ota axis of the state.
The Commissioner of police, Mr. Kenneth Ebrimson, said in his statement at the divisional police station where he paraded the suspects.
Newsmen reports that the high rate of the crisis occurred April 4, 2020, as residents ran for their lives and losing possessions and properties in the havoc.
The commissioner, however, rebutted claims that gunmen hijacked the crisis, saying there was no report or complaints of robbery made to the station by people from distressed areas.
He further explained that the command swung into action immediately it received information and has made arrest to those in connection with the incident.
Mr. Kenneth stated that the basic issue is the cult case emanating from the killing of one of their member in Ifo and spread to Sango, Ijoko and Agbado areas.
