During the Osun State’s International Fashion Week, the Governor of the State, Governor Gboyega Oyetola, make a remark stating that uniform will be a mandated for the public and civil servants of the state.
Adire, which is a distinctive local fabric is set to be worn to work every Thursday to promote Nigerian fashion and culture.
Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun made the remarks during the state’s International Fashion Week in Osogbo.
According to the spokesperson to the governor, Ismail Omipidan, the directive would take effect from August 27.

The governor established that the initiative was part of efforts to preserve and promote the production of Adire in Osun State, and also as a means of enhancing the image of the state as a culturally correct and indigenous product inclined state.
