The Samsung Galaxy A80 was released in April this year amidst much followership and attention common to Flagships. The Galaxy A80 differentiates itself from many other Galaxy flagships with its design – a notch-less display, using its triple rear cameras which rotates, doubling as the front cameras.

In China, Samsung released a single Galaxy A80 variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage.

However, according to TENAA, a new Galaxy A80 variant will be released soon. This new variant will have an extra 128GB of Storage, which is the major upgrade. This new variant of the Galaxy A80 with 256GB Storage was certified on the 12th of November and added to TENAA’s database.

The Smartphone has a sleek 6.7″ Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. It comes with a Snapdragon 730G chipset. On the camera front, it has a triple camera arrangement: a 48MP Main Camera, an 8MP Ultrawide Camera and a TOF 3D Camera. This camera rotates to function both as front-facing and back cameras.

Running on the Android 9 Pie, the device will be eligible for the Android 10 update in 2020. The Galaxy A80 also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is powered by a 3,700mAh battery with 27W fast-charging feature.
