The Chadian president, Idriss Deby, has called on the Boko Haram factional leader, Abubakar Shekau to surrender or be eliminated in his Dikoa hideout.
Reports from newsmen says this message came in days after the president of Chad, Deby led the Chadian army in an offensive attack against the terrorist group which saw about 100 of them killed.
Boko Haram terrorists had recently ambushed the Chadian troops , killing about 92 soldiers during the attack.
Deby, who said he would not accept defeat, launched an offensive attack, operation wrath of Borno to retaliate the death of his men.
The operation was carried out on April 2, led the Chadian army to kill the terrorists at Kelkoua bank and Magumeri where they destroyed and recovered a cache of arms and arrested a top commander of the Boko Haram.
It was gathered that the Chadian army also allegedly freed some Nigerian soldiers held captive by the terrorists, in Borno State.
