The Finance Minister of Germany Commits Suicide over Recession Caused by COVID-19

German’s finance minister, Mr. Thomas Schaefer has been reported to have committed suicide after his worries over how to cope with the economic fallout from COVID-19.

The 54 years old man was found near a railway track on Saturday.

Hesse, a home to Germany’s financal capital, Frankfurt, Mr. Schaefer had been working day and night to assist companies and workers deal with the economic impact of the pandemic.

German is one of the top five countries with the highest case of the virus with over 62,000 cases as at the time of filing this report.

The police after investigating and questioning witnesses with their own observation at the scene, leaving them to conclude that the minister killed himself.
