Following the indefinite ban of Twitter in Nigeria, which took effect on the 5th of June, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved a Federal Government (FG) team to engage in the dialogue with Twitter over the suspension.
This development was made known in a statement in the FCT, by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

The team comprises of the announcer, Lai Mohammed (who is to chair the meeting), Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Works and Housing, Minister of State for Labour and Employment as well as other relevant government agencies.
