Two abducted female students of OOU regains freedom

The Police Public Relations Officer of Ogun State, Abibola Oyeyemi, have confirmed the release of the two abducted students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye in Ogun State.

The students identified as Adeyemo Precious and Oyefule Abiola of the departments of Forestry and Wildlife Management and Agricultural Economic respectively, were reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Sunday, March 14, while returning to their hostel at the Olowu Area of Ayetoro campus of the institution.

However, the abductors demanded a ransom of N50m to secure the release of the students but the police authorities insisted that no ransom was paid and didn’t confirm if the abductors were arrested or not.
